Growing Up!
This year, because of you, FamilyPoint Resources served 665 students from pre-K through 12th grade, providing 3,636 hours of enrichment and support. We awarded scholarships to 12 deserving FPR high school graduates to help launch their college journeys.
Every week, 115 elementary students received homework help four days a week. 109 young athletes built confidence and teamwork as members of the FPR Speed Track & Field Team, and 139 students experienced life-changing opportunities at Camp OTX (Ozark). None of this would be possible without the generosity and commitment of 423 volunteers who showed up faithfully to support our participants and programs.
To fully appreciate this impact, it helps to look back.
In December 2008, FamilyPoint’s Board Meeting notes captured a very different moment in our story: Since 2007, we had helped about 85 children from 55 families get involved in sports through local teams, summer camps, and partnered with Camp Ozark to send 25 kids to camp. Our after-school program had just launched at Meadow Wood Elementary, serving 23 students with the help of 4–6 volunteers twice a week. Finances: Our total account balance stood at $8,588.87.
These numbers represent more than growth—they represent lives changed, potential unlocked, and hope restored. What began as a desire to understand and work with our community to discover how to meet needs has grown into a thriving organization that empowers hundreds of children every year.
Thanks to your generosity, we’ve met our 2025 fundraising goal. As we plan for 2026, we’re hoping for $100,000 in year-end contributions that will support growing programs, hiring more staff, and designing more space.
Thank you for believing in FamilyPoint and investing in programs that empower children to dream big and soar higher.
