Concentration. No repeats or Hesitations!

The small moments—the unexpected comment, the burst of collective laughter—often become the memories that stay with us the longest.

During a game of Concentration, we were several rounds in, deep into the animal category. By that point, all the obvious answers were gone and students were reaching for the most specific creatures they could think of. Zuzu offered up “hammerhead shark.”

With a small pause and finger on her chin, Aaliyah jumped, pointing her finger in the air, as the lightbulb went off and she shouted with enthusiastic confidence: “BABY SHARK!”

The game immediately came to a halt, replaced by laughter, a spontaneous song, and a joyful little dance—one of those unplanned moments that perfectly captures the heart of FPR.
